In 1898 a sousaphone was built according to the idea of the composer and chaplain Johan Philipp Sous. This unique brass instrument was named after its originator. The sousaphone is related to the tube, but is distinguished by a very large voice charm placed over the player's head. The instrument, which is popularly referred to as the "sunflower" is usually used in costume B, less frequently in E. Susaphones are most often used in large wind orchestras, marching orchestras, and dance or dixieland orchestras. They are also popular with jazz musicians. Our music instrument store offers a wide range of models developed and produced by the best brands in the industry, whose low price goes hand in hand with the highest quality.
